NHS - AAA Screening
If you’re a man in your 65th year, you’re invited for a quick 5–10 minute AAA scan.
It checks your main abdominal artery for swelling, which usually has no symptoms.
If everything’s fine, you won’t need another check for years. If something’s found, they’ll monitor it or refer you for treatment.
